Adopting Sustainable Practices for Future Success

The UK's economy grew by 0.5% in February, according to data from the Office for National Statistics (ONS). The figure easily beat the consensus projection of simply a 0.1% rise, showing the economy was in better health than thought by a lot of economic experts. The reading was based on information from before the outbreak of war in the Middle East that sent energy prices rising and shook confidence across the economy.

Previously this week, the UK saw the most significant cut to its annual development projection from the IMF among sophisticated economies, with the figure now anticipated to be below 1.3% in 2015 to just 0.8%. Another concern is that the reading being so far off projections may suggest the figures are being distorted by seasonality, or other concerns in how the data is collected.
